Shipping and Handling
To train 10 individuals in victim advocacy and communication skills to be an ambassador of the project with an intent
to go out to 10 churches each in Riverside County to discuss the issue of Domestic Violence. This will include focus on
both spousal battery, sexual assault and child abuse. The ambassador will bring the kit, speak to leadership with in the church
and be a contact for both further educational materials and opportunities, as well as a contact for members who are touch
by the issue of Domestic Violence and need refferals and encouragement.
Over time the hope is that each of the 100 churches touched by the project will raise up a member from their church to be
a beacon with in their congregation, that other members of their church can meet with to discuss
and work through practical issues that arise while healing from abuse. This beacon will have the oppportunity to attend
the 40 hour training on the issue, becoming a vicitims advocate and to speak on the dynamics on Domestic
violence, bring what has been hidden into light.
